Go do things to take your mind off it. Keep busy!

That doesn't work. I tried to get an appt. at Hershey, pa but their psychiatrists aren't taking new patients. I'm so afraid of anxiety I don't know what to do

Don't be afraid of the anxiety. It can't hurt you. The more you fight the way You feel the worse it will get. When you start to feel anxious just relax and let it run its course. It is all just feelings brought on by adrenaline. Walking is such a great thing to do when you're feeling anxious. It helps to burn off excess adrenaline.

Take a look at this website and read his blog. It helped me so much when I was feeling completely overwhelmed.

I can't stop being afraid of anxiety. It's an obsessive thought. How do you just stop being afraid

You stop giving the feelings of anxiety the power to scare you. It's just a feeling, not a physical thing that can harm you. The feelings will always pass.

Try this website and read his blog. It helped me alot.

I did that's what caused this whol thing. I read Claire weekes book that said not to be afraid. I couldn't stop being afraid and it scared me more

I get it but I can't stop.

It's the thoughts in my mind. That won't let me rest

I understand compulsive thoughts because I have them too. But you are in charge of your mind. You can do things to stop yourself from listening to every random thought that runs through your head. If I can do it, you can.

I'm scared of the anxiety. I had a counselor that told me you can't get rid of obsessive thoughts.

I want someone to work with me to help me to stop. Years ago I had anxiety but I didn't know it. My bladder hurt so bad. I went through all kinds of tests and everything was normal. So I'm afraid of that because the pain was awful and nobody could help. The only thing that helped it was anti anxiety meds. Now I'm on meds and I'm feeling it.
