So here I am 20 years old and a prisoner trying to escape this mental prison.
I stopped going out because the anxiety became so overwhelming I can't stand going out for long periods of time because then I just start to freak and the cycle begins. I'm starting to get cabin fever, there's so much I can do at home and it's such a conflict because going out stresses me too much
Just hoping to get better soon

That's such a shame at 20. Hope you find some way to a better future, all the best.
nmp1, I agree with PaulaL in that you may be able to find other ways of getting help without going out of your home, at least at the beginning. When I needed help at the time, there were psychologists who would come to my home. Part of the therapy is accompanying you to face your fears outside your home, in your car etc. From there it went to phone therapy and then office visits. I wish you luck in finding therapists. Don't give up. The answer is out there xx
