Hey guys!

Has anyone suffering from anxiety ever dealt with burning sensations? Like the slightest touch burns or wearing clothing makes you itchy? If you have, how did u deal with it!

Thanks in advance!

not had the itching thing but the burning feeling, yes I have. Told my doctor about it and she felt it was my nerves inflammed or something like that. It lasted a few week on my lower, lower back. It came out of nowhere and I had a hard time sitting comfortably. I even put ice back there and layed on my stomach from time to time. Took warm baths too and eventually it subsided. Felt almost like a rug burn kinda feeling. LOL..it was annoying!

My doctor gave me meds for shingles. I had shingles before. I took one pill so far and already felt a somewhat difference. But I googled and seen that it was associated with anxiety and nerves.

I have felt this . Sometimes just a hot sensation in my face , and chest . Sometimes tingling pins and needles feeling on my forehead and face . Luckily I'm at home usually when it happens and I just take my shirt off . I've tried cold rags on my face , it didn't really help .

Yes mine is associated with my face and my whole left side. It's very annoying. It scares the hell out of me

Mine was mainly on the right side . Sometimes had a heavy feeling on the right side of my face also .

Mine is the left and it's really scaring me because if anything comes in contact with my it actually hurts/ burns. I keep googling and all I'm getting is Trigeminal neuralgia. The worst part is everything on there is exactly what I have done in the last 2 days. I swore my pain was from an abscess but nope dentist said my teeth are fine. Besides the wisdom teeth. TN people say they actually thought that until they went to a neurologist. My Dr looked at me like I was absolutely nuts and just threw a shingles antibiotic on me and said see a a neurologist. I'm literally scared so bad now and I wanna go to the ER but I'm afraid that if they do MRI they are going to find something and I'm going to be alone when I hear it.

I thought my MRI was going to be bad , but thank God it was normal . I was told to see a neurologist also , still haven't went . My advice , go to the er if your worried . At least for your piece of mind.

My Dr is telling me shingles. But I have no rash. Plus I had shingles before. She didn't even know... Waiting for a neurologist appointment it's like waiting for hell to freeze over.

Yes you got that right. Appointments seem to take forever for me as well. I think if it was shingles you would know
