' I don't know why but I cannot stand it when people talk about someone dying of a heart attack.

I was at my aunt today and my mom and aunt talked about it I was like oh no I don't want to know or hear

...I even started to get this burning sensations in my chest area and under left breast just got bad...just kept thinking what if it's me next...

Damn I hate this..just feel like crying

omg, I am exactly the same, I hosted a xmas party the other night and one of my guests started telling me about the stroke he had and his symptoms and my neck went into spasm and I felt like fleeing. It's a terrible feeling

also, I watch a lot of tv and there is a commercial every 20 minutes about some pharmaceutical for some malady whether it be afib, cancer, ms, and many more. I can feel myself tightening up when I hear them. Even the sports talk show I listen to broadcasts commercials for different hospitals in the area specializing in cancer treatment and heart disease. It seems like I can't get away from it.

Wowww I feel the same exact way I open my email and saw on my Yahoo mail of someone dying from a massive heart attack I had to delete the whole thread. I know exactly how u feel because it then goes to me thinking it's gonna happen to me sigh!

yes it's such a horrible feeling to be scared just hearing about it like you get the symptoms after you hear of them as well.

I can't watch tv with people having strokes and heart attacks 2 it makes me go into a panic like crazy!!!

Yup, same way. I always think something is going on with my heart. When I hear something about someone else, especially around my age (36) or close to me. Something going on with them, I start to worry.
