Past day or so I’ve been having some mild stomach pain. I would call it more uncomfortable. Seems to get worse when I go from sitting to standing, but if I pace around it eases a little bit. I’ve tracked my anxiety as it hunts from place to place on my body, looking for a place to strike. That’s literally what it does. First it was my heart, of course, then my head, then digestive (constipation) and now stomach. I know I have Silent Reflux but my heart is cleared, my digestive issue is only the constipation and gas, and I’m just wondering does anyone else have anxiety hit and become super conscious of stomach pain?
I used to work out 6+ times a week but my anxiety is keeping me down. I can’t afford the doctor right now. Any help would be appreciated!

Id feel better if you got this checked please. Yes stomach pains can be part of anxiety, it's quite common that emotional symptoms present themselves as physical but you can't mess about with our tums. I don't want to mention any 'what it could be' for the reason it may make you worse. Do you have pain anywhere else?. Is it better if you squat?(go with me)...i have gastric reflux and take omeprazole once a day and I used to find that anxiety made it worse. You mentioned not being able to afford a doctor....if it gets so severe pls promise me you will get it sorted. So for now try this...Hot water bottle and watch what you eat...sip tepid water also. Write down the times the pains arrive and how long they last and do it on a scale of 1 to 10 pain wise. Don't forget to breath...sometimes thro anxious times, it helps. It did me anyway. In thro the nose(slowly counting to 4) and out thro the mouth (5 to 8)...keep repeating this pattern until you feel calmer. Also massaging your tum often helps. But before you take anything....doctor first!! Janie.
Thank you for your reply! If it gets severe I will definitely go in. No it just is in my stomach pain, if I pass gas it helps, I do have a history of gas pains triggering my anxiety attacks. No pain anywhere else, no nausea no blood in stool no sharp pains. Just like a dull cramp. I don’t really know how well that explains it. I will definitely try what you suggest! Honestly just talking about it helps my anxiety. Thanks again!
No problem....the list of nasties is endless isn't it?. The doom and gloom of anxiety huh!!. Yes please do try some of the things I've mentioned, I suffered with headaches and every stomach pain known to man(I ended up with gallstones actually but that's another story entirely lol) and the hottie and massages helped. If you want to chat I'm always around somewhere...this site is full of fantastically supportive ppl. J
