Hi everyone, hope your Monday is going well. Like many of you my anxiety has been crazy lately... winter, holiday stress & worries. I decided today I'm going to say to heck with you anxiety & try to see good in today. Last night I went out & saw friends at our monthly potluck. A couple we haven't seen in months was there.... so good to see them, forgot my worries for a few hours. Today I got the bed made, the Christmas package I need to mail ready to go, took something out for dinner & other small tasks done before heading out to work. The guy at my coffee shop told me I had a nice speaking voice. Which I causing me to beam & want to cry happy tears.... I have a speech problem my whole life, I hate the way I sound.... so, someone giving me a compliment like that... 😄. It definitely going to be my happy thought today.
Sending good thoughts, smiles & hugs to everyone today. You all are stronger than you think.
💛, Mel

melbrown, sounds like a very positive evening the night before as well as a good day today. It's funny how a compliment can make our day. You deserve a "feel good" day. You did great Mel
Enjoy your evening Sending a hug, a smile and a good thought your way xx
It’s the little things that count I feel it is very important to celebrate those little accomplishments that means so much anxiety is all about retraining your mind on how you perceive things anything that comes your way you can choose to see positively or negatively now I know that is easier said than doneAt times but I’m so happy that you’re having a wonderful day
Isn't that the truth? I try to convince myself that it'll be a good day & I'm okay.Usually the anxiety & depression wins. Today I won, that compliment really helped. I hope you had a good day to 😊
