Feel exhausted

I have just been laying here and checked my heart rate it showed it was at 127 and then jumped down to 111. I’m not doing anything just laying here. I have felt so exhausted all day cause I had a super busy weekend and went to bed past midnight last night. I was dozing off to sleep earlier today but I hate sleeping when I’m alone so I’d wake up then force myself to stay awake. I feel so weird today...Can the weird feeling and high heart rate be caused due to lack of sleep?

In word yes. If you’re tired then your body will do all sorts of twitching and heart racing etc is one of them.

I frequently go through bouts where I sleep less for a period of time, I get palpitations and flutters if I don’t sleep properly and this can start me feeling a little anxious but I just remember that I’m sleeping less...I meditate and exercise and try to take short twenty minute naps, setting my alarm so that I don’t sleep too long as this screws up my sleeping pattern...

Truths172 is right. There are times that my anxiety / insomnia will keep me up two nights in a row. I read or watch an old movie. (Watching TV or be on the internet are NOT recommended, but this is not an uncommon pattern for me.) By the early morning of day three I know my body is tired enough that my anxiety finally looses and I'll sleep that night. The previous two days are a waste.

Glad you did get out and were busy over the weekend. Know from your posts that lack of activity and being home alone bother you. So congratulations for having such a weekend.
