Exhausted 😩

Woke up went to Drs for fasting blood test and felt ok . About 11am felt really sick about 12.30 had a piece of bread for lunch and still felt yuck. Kept drinking water . Then about 1pm started to feel strange really strange . Went outside to walk around and did this for about 20 mins . Sat outside and the heart rate went up , felt like I wanted to vomit , pass out , I just didn't know what to do with myself I couldn't sit and walking was really hard . I tried my hardest to get through this fkn panic attack . I ended up taking a Kalma but took a good 40 mins to kick in . I went to bed and slept . But ever since I have got up I'm so so exhausted , just drained . Why ?

No worries

You need to eat !! Drinking water, especially non mineral water will flush what ever little minerals you have in your body out, you need them for it to work properly and having a panic attack ( which is like standing on a street and almost getting hit by a car but didn't ) is going to take more things out of you. Get some good food down you and or supplements and move around.

I couldn't eat as feeling so so sick . Did have tea tonight though . I'm a big water drinker always have been but doesn't help , but I do keep drinking it . The last few nights I have woken and the feeling of internally shaking , once awake for ten minutes it goes . What is that ??

??

Unless you drink water that is bottled mineral water, drinking tons of tap or filtered water isn't good. It could just be your body relaxing from your stressful day or your body could need food because if I don't eat properly I'll be shaky too.

TimTim22 it's just tap water . What's the difference please ?

β€’ in reply toJodz

Well tap water has flouride in it, which is toxic to the body in large amounts. It also has chlorine in it so it reaches you safe and drinkable but would you want to drink lots of bleach in your water, chlorine is bleach.

Mineral water, has no flouride, chlorine and other nasty crap. It does have calcium, Magnesium and sodium and other trace minerals all needed for a healthy body.

Probably low blood sugar which could be lack of Magnesium as this stabilisers your blood sugar. Rather get some mineral water or a Magnesium glycinate supplements or both !!. Eat fruit as it releases sugar into the body slow.

I would avoid drinking lots of tap water.

I always feel totally drained after panicking and if I don't eat properly or through emotional stress .. It's our bodies way of saying , stop .. I need to recharge !! It will pass .

Anxiety floods your body with adrenaline, getting it ready to fight, flee or freeze. After an anxiety attack, your body will feel drained. Your body is doing what it was meant to do - slowing you down so that you can replenish your resources. Don't worry, it will pass.

THANKYOU

You are very welcome. I have found that since I developed this anxiety disorder, I am more tired than I was previously. Initially, the tiredness scared me. When I feel really tired, I just lie down for a while and have a rest. I am learning how to pace myself better and instead of rushing around like a lunatic trying to get things done, as I did previously, I have had to learn to do one thing at a time and take my time, and some things I've just had to let go of. Not drinking caffeine has made a difference; I used to rely on caffeine to give me a boost when I was tired. Now that I am not drinking caffeine, I guess my body is in a more natural state than when I was pushing myself with caffeine. Just be kind to yourself. You have a condition that requires that you get more rest than when you did not have it. However, it can be treated and you can recover. Blessings upon you!
