Get ready for a laugh

When I pulled into the driveway and tried to open the door to get out of the car the car door was stuck and I found myself trapped in my car unable to open the door. I’ve had a total knee replacement so crawling over the console to get out the passenger side didn’t look promising. I also have problems with anxiety when I’m in enclosed spaces so I knew I was in trouble. Eventually I wiggled my leg over the console and was able to escape unharmed. Come to find out the buckle on my coat had gotten caught on the door jam making it unable to open. I think a video of the expression on my face during this episode would’ve been priceless. The good news is I survived, the anxiety was Brief and I will live to see another day.

Today I went swimming and forgot my towel. Had to use a sock to dry myself as best I could. I played football later on but managed to bring odd sized boots, one belonging to my son and I dentical to mine but a couple of sizes smaller. They say it happens in 3s so just waiting to see what I get up to next.

It’s good when we can laugh at ourselves isn’t it. Heaven knows there are plenty of times when we aren’t laughing. Anxious to hear what number 3 will be. Hopefully it will be hilarious.

That is definitely a moment i would have looked back on myself and died laughing. Crazy how such little things can cause such a fuss.

I’m pretty proud of how I managed crawling over the console with a bum knee. I’m sure I would have won America funniest videos!
