Someone describe what “Normal” is

Can somebody please describe to me what it feels like to feel “Normal” haven’t felt like this in so long I forget :( Sometimes when I’m calm I have no thoughts just see my surroundings with my eyes and it scares me cause I worry that somethings wrong with my brain if it’s not thinking about SOMETHING as I always am. Can somebody please tell me what Normal feels like? I literally always think I’m having a stroke or something cause my mind goes blank and I don’t understand how we can talk without thinking it’s weird to me.

I think part of the problem is that society in general is usually always occupied with something - Tv, laptop, phone, etc. So we aren’t really ever just thinking. When we realize we aren’t thinking about anything, it feels really weird.

I think if it’s a regular thing, you could try some apps that show you different meditation techniques. If you have time or interest in meditation. I don’t, personally, but a lot of people swear by it.

Then, when you catch yourself in one of those moments, it’ll be less strange to you. Hopefully 😊

In my honest opinion there is no such thing as NORMAL so if we remove that word from our vocabulary and from our lives we will then be able to realize that we are all unique which gives us the factor of being able to be who we are and not what society wants us to be

Unplug from society and be your own creation be your own image of what YOU define as NORMAL

One persons normal could be someone else's PSYCHO

just like one persons beauty could be anothers ugly

There is always going to be a complication between what is normal and what is not

Thank You, And I get what you’re saying but what I mean is that I used to feel “good” as my old self and now I don’t anymore and I just want to feel as I used to. The anxiety and the bad reaction I had to medication has made me feel this way it is so overwhelming.

Wow...you should try and teach that...I know a bunch of people that would love to know how to shut their minds up...actually I would like to know too!!!

What is normal? Strange question. Does normal actually exist, I don't think so.

Everyone is different to one degree or another so normal is whatever it is to you.

Is your weirdness normal?

My fiancee sometimes tells me I'm weird...that is my normal.

Your weirdness sounds normal to me?

You should try to be grateful for these quiet moments you have, I think that if you thought about it more deeply you would discover that your mind is not as quiet as you think, your mind is processing so much all at the same time, if you experienced it all then you would most definitely go mad! It's keeping your heart beating, it is analysing your surroundings and filtering out everything it thinks is not of value to you and keeping all the stuff it thinks might help you.

Normal feels like what normal feels like to you. If you had a stroke or some sort of brain explosion, heart attack or whatever, you would certainly not be posting on this page right now.

Embrace your weirdness as being your normal.

I guess what I meant is what does it “feel” like to not feel anxious symptoms or feelings?

I was happy, outgoing, working 6 days a week, in what i thought was a good relationship, just a totally different person to what ive been lately. Almost like a different person x
