Blood Results

Recently I got my bloodwork done and I saw my results online. It says I have elevated levels of Platelets, WBC & Lymphocytes what could this mean? I’ve read it could mean a viral infection or something more serious. I am a bit concerned. My dr wants me to come in to see her about the results. I’m very nervous.

I have had elevated wbc for my past two blood work readings and still they cant figure out what it is. Stress can also cause it to go up.

Oh okay thank you for letting me know. I had been reading online about it and was so confused. I’ve been under a great amount of stress lately because of my health I’m just hoping that’s all it is. I have been feeling so strange lately and can only assume it’s anxiety but it feels like I’m totally spaced out like looking around at my surroundings feels like I’m zoned out but I’m not. Do you ever get that?

Honey that has been me every single day for the past few months, like im just floating through life, like im not really here and I just go with it . my wbc was 17 last month and 14 this month and should be under 11

Thank you for the reassurance and sorry you have to go through that. It’s scary cause I always feel like I’m supposed to be having more of an “experience” in life but instead I’m just barely moving around functioning right it seems like. I always worry something is wrong with my brain because of this but I sleep terribly too so I’m sure that doesn’t help much. My wbc is currently 12.4 and supposed to be under 11 and my 414 supposed to be 400

I've been dealing with some anxiety and my blood work was all good but my WBC was 13.5. My dr said it wasn't cause for concern because everything else was normal. Stress can certainly have an affect on your blood work.

I didn’t know that !! :/ I have had lab work come back with those results sometimes . Recently in my case it was a viral infection but I’m seeking treatment , but of course be it that I have anxiety, i was also stressed so I know that played a part in things :/
