Ok so over the past few days, I’ve had moments where it feels like someone’s just giving my chest a light squeeze. It doesn’t hurt at all it is just surprising. Well I don’t get dizzy or anything after word or anything. I also put my hand over my heart and I pushed down and the feeling came back! It feels like something is in my chest that shouldn’t be. I don’t have a cough or anything when it happens could it’s just be my anxiety?

Someone’s squeezing my lung?

Does sound like anxiety, i have that sometimes. A tightness in the chest until I relax. Put your mind at rest and ask your doctor just to check it out. x
I think ik what you mean! How does it feel? Like someone is squeezing you with their hand? Describe it more if you can.
Hi plushiesaremyjam anxiety does have strange physical symptoms sometimes. If, after running bloodwork and other tests, the lab reports come back normal, and your psychiatrist confirms it's anxiety, then it's a matter of learning to manage those symptoms. i myself started to get dizzy last year and feel tightness in throat, but had done blood tests and when all was normal, my psychiatrist confirmed it's anxiety. I at first didn't think so bc i've been anxious my whole life, but only dizzy since last year. but now that i know it's anxiety--I just try my best to ignore it, breathe deep, learn my triggers and avoid them. So if you can confirm medically that it's not a physical problem, try seeing if you can find a pattern, what triggers this symptom and use anxiety management techniques. I hope you feel better
