I have already been to a gp and cardiologist who have all said my heart is fine
I have been getting a crushing senstaion in my heart that lasts a few seconds and in so painful it takes my breathe away. This will have about 4 times every minute and then goes away. The pain feels directly in my heart and feels like squeezing or crushing. I think something may be wrong

I just read your post about the chest pain, the crushing sensation and I'm texting you because I have been going through the exact same thing aswell.
I totally understand why you went to a cardiologist and Doctor.
Trust me Hollie,
I have done all those things, and then some !!!!!
The reason and the answer for this horrible and scary feeling is inner Anxiety !
Now,
I've been going through sheer torture ever since I couldn't get to sleep because I was working too hard and doing far too much at 1 time,
Which I am used to but it will catch up on a petson eventually.
So,
I was having trouble getting to sleep for a while,
I tried everything but no use.
I went to my G.P and he gave me sleeping tablets called ZOPICLONE !!!
They were perfect at the beginning. Really helped me, but as time went onn,I started to need more, thats when I said okay, I need to stop these and that's when the problems started !
It's been a nightmare tbh with you coming off these tablets. The symptoms I get are chest pain and tightness, then Anxiety will kick inn.
Alot of people who are not on any medicine also have the same problem as you and me.
I've done a bunch of reading and researchon the subject and trust me, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you or your heart or any other surrounding areas, I will literally guarantee that for you !!
It just feels like it is,
And a person naturally panics because of the area it is happening to.
I have had it bad, until i started reading about it,
THEN I was able to control it and make it go away.
It's basically your brain sending out signals down through the central nervous system and that releases hormones like Cortisol (Fear hormones), that go and travel through certain nerves. The very first of these places to be affected is the chest area and abdominal area aswell. That's why you feel the butterflies in your stomach and those nervous feelings.
What you need to do is find out what it is that may be annoying or bothering you,
Even sub-conciencly without you openly thinking about it !
Once you are able to truly chill yourself out in your mind,
THEN you will see the pains going away.
And keep your mind and thoughts occupied on other stuff.
Keep yourself busy and you will see that it goes away by itself.
JUST please don't be scared or anything whatsoever by the chest thing.
It's a fake.
It's what that Anxiety and panic does to a person,
But you can beat it.
You just need to read up on it.
Read stuff on how to calm your NERVES and honestly Hollie,
You will be absolutely fine.
Trust me,
I've been through the whole horrible unwanted experience,
Thought I was gonna die etc etc,
Panic and anxiety attacks out of the blue,
All kinds of s**t !!!!!
There is definitely nothing wrong with you medically.
Millions of people around the world go through the exact same thing.
It's not nice but I promise that you definitely can control it, HONEST !!!
Hollie,
I hope I helped you a little.
IF YOU feel un-well again and need some advice or help,
Please don't hesitate to contact me at anytime at all.
I'm still going through my therapy but yes, I've definitely come a long way forwards by basically reading and studying on the subject as much as possible.
Hey Hollie, I am in the same boat as you right now....
I have chest pains that just came on suddenly earlier which made me panic badly!! The worse thing was I didn’t feel like I was anxious at all. But I suppose it’s just my body wanting my anxiety to come out...
Just try and relax your mind as much as you can, listen to music/watch a movie. Just anything!! I know it’s easier said than done but the more you think about it, the more pain you will feel.
I struggle with my chest pains which is my main cause of anxiety - I hate them, I just wish they would go away!!
Take care of yourself, I hope you feel better soon xx
I’m also having chest pain it’s in the middle of my chest moore on the left side and it’s sharp pain that last couple second goes and comes back ..... im scared myself I keep thinking that it’s a heart attack waiting for happen , just wanted to share that ur not alone
That is a common thing with chest anxiety I’ve had it time to time. It’s scary but you shouldn’t worry. I think Agora1 has them, I saw a post she commented once talking about it. You could ask her about it.
And here is a comparison chart for anxiety chest pains and heart attacks
