I got the same problem found out it’s anxiety but more of a migraine a bad one just take migraleve the two pink tablets at night and you will have a perfect morning hopefully
Courtflyjay, it is one of the most common symptoms of anxiety. The off balance feeling, the rocking floor. I'd actually look down at the pavement at times wondering if it were really sinking in with each step I took. You are not alone with that feeling. You need to check your breathing, do some relaxation to allow your muscles and nervous system to calm down. It's all about the mind/body connection. What your mind envisions, your body will pick up on that and physically feel what you are thinking. Once that happens to you, you can't help but subconsciously think about that with each and every step you take. That is why it is there 24/7. It becomes a learned behavior.
Are you on medication, are you following any other methods to relieve anxiety? Have you read Dr. Claire Weekes book on Acceptance of the anxiety symptoms? She is on YouTube and even if you have read her book, the videos are a refresher and reassurance that what you are feeling, sensing is all a part of the anxiety disorder. It is nothing to fear. The less you fear the symptoms, the faster it will float away. I never get that off balanced feeling anymore. I walk with confidence in knowing I'm in control once again. I plant each foot on the ground knowing the ground, the floor will support me as I take each step. You are safe. xx
I have the same issue but even when I’m super relaxed I still feel dizzy and off balance. My blood sugars perfectly fine, I know that, so I don’t understand why I feel it even when I’m relaxed, if it’s a symptom of anxiety
Hi Rose__21, being "super relaxed" for the anxious person is very short lived since the subconscious is always running a video in our mind even while sleeping. Providing any health issues have been checked out, then the answer is "yes" the feeling you experience while relaxed can still be coming from anxiety.
Checking your breathing is important even while relaxing. You may be holding your breath or breathing more shallow. You may not be hydrated enough. Not drinking enough water throughout the day can cause that spacy feeling as well.
It's always best to go further in checking out any inner ear problem that could also cause this feeling. Keep us updated..x
I hear you. I have it too. I sometimes feel I’m going to fall, which I don’t. I am worried and keep thinking I have a scary disease. Checked blood work couple of times and all is fine. I know I suffer from anxiety but it’s not always a relief
Yes it’s anxiety . Hate that rocking / dropping feeling
Hello, if I thought for one second that I had a brain tumor I would have been to the Doctors yesterday, and I wouldn't be asking non professionals for their opinion . So go already you have nothing to gain from advoiding this. The symptoms you describe can be caused by many different things, and you need to find out what that is. I will say that I imagine a brain tumor would cause a more noticeable symptoms , but seriously go see your gp. Pam
Yes every single day. Ruining my life xxx
Yes I have this everyday... It's the worst
I have this! I feel constantly dizzy and lightheaded, worse at night times for me and more mild throughout the day! I sometimes feel like my whole head is numb too, I literally have to keep one hand one my head to make me feel like it’s still there or I feel really disconnected! If you read on here a lot of people experience this, If you need to put your mind at ease though speak to your doctor for reassurance 🤗
Yep mines started in April and I've never been the same since 😔
I only get like that when I go outside or I am stressed. If you have it all the time it's possible you còuld have an ear infection òr have you had toothache lately? I have only heard of Sailors who have been at sea for long periods feeling like that. I would speak to a DŔ tbh
Same feelings here. I had it since May. Some days are better than others, I take meds that have helped and I kind of go with the feeling and not stress and this makes it better. The times around my period are usually the worst. Exercise also helps make this symptom a little more bearable. I also get migraines which in my opinion are related to this symptom. Socialization also helps just don’t stand in one place. Sit down to talk or go on a walk with friends.
I've had anxiety issues on and off since I was in my teens. I had years when I felt quite 'normal'. Recent years, I've had a fair bit of stress, so my anxiety levels went up. I began to get balance issues - which can be due to anxiety, but I discovered I had loose crystals in the canal of one ear - BPPV. It was successfully treated with some manouvering. I'd had it for some time so it meant that my balance system was not functioning 100%. Just this week, I have seen a physio specialising in vestibular problems. I've been told my balance can be improved by doing some exercises. This may not be the case for you, but thought it useful to let anyone know, whose has dizzy/balance issue. Sometimes if you've had an ear infection, it can affect balance, too. Vestibular problems can produce anxiety.
I think it’s vertigo you got because I got the same it’s to do with the crystals in the canal and that’s what causes severe migraine
Sounds like vertigo.See your doc. There are tablets a d taught movements that can help.I have the same thing.
Best of luck
To ease your mind have your dr to do a CAT scan or MRI to reassure you don't have a brain tumor
Don't let anyone fob you off with anxiety. These are very real physical symptoms and I have the same. I was eventually diagnosed with vestibular migraine and damaged vestibular nerve! Of course living with this can make you anxious but anxiety in itself isn't usually the cause imho! VEDA is a good informative website and there are also several supportive Facebook groups. Medication, dietary measures and lifestyle changes can all help. Good luck in finding some answers X
Me everyday for five years they say anxiety
