Car door

Hi, I'm new here, the other day I crushed my index finger in a car door whist trying to get something and now my index finger on my right hand has become like red, swollen and looks like infected.can anyone give me a idea of what to do about it and it really hurts when I try and bend it. They will xray it they will take a good look at it and see if its broken if it is broken they splint it the longer you wait the worse it gets the worse it gets the slowedt chances of that finger surviving

NO!! You goto the doctor!! Theyll just take off the bandages anyway when you get there they will take care of the situation just DROP WHAT YOUR DOING AND GO you already waited a full day get your butt out to the nearest CITY MD or emegency room and tell them everything how long you waited if you iced it what treatments did uou do theyll have you try to bend your finger theyll do tess just GO

But WHY? if hes that concerned everything must come to a hault and go get t resolved? Thats my opinion tbh lol but hey it must not be that bad if he can go shopping? Unless its life or death for food

Like kev said, xray, splint, clean wound, dress wound, maybe give you some antibiotics and some pain killers. In the meantime apply the RICE technique R - rest, I - ice it, C - compression bandage to reduce swelling and E - elevate it.- hold your hand up near your shoulder.

You don't need a.finger bandage. If you don't go and get some.medical advice, you won't have a finger to put a bandage on.

This post is closed the person left this forum.. we gave advice he ignored it.. wanted to go shopping but said his finger was crushed.. all we van do is advise on this forum the OP must have not been that concerned or has a phobia of doctors i feel bad but cant do nothing about it. No longer needing to post on this topic
