Anxiety makes my blood pressure go up high

My bp at the dentist right now is 144/120. I have been feeling really anxious lately and nervous.

I would think that's normal when you're anxious and nervous because every time I go to the doctors my blood pressure will be up but at home it is totally normal

J merrick it have been cases that i have had 190 -110 just becouse of anxiety, just the thinking that i was going to control the presure was making it go from 130 to 190 in some seconds during i was watching mu presure...it happens,and thats bad becouse its hard to stop it..been to emergency different times for the blood pressure and check up everything but all is in our heads

The doctor prescribed me a low-dose blood pressure med and I've been terrified to take it because of side effects but now I'm thinking maybe I better

I've always had low blood pressure every time it's been taken throughout my life, when my anxiety started I went to the doctor in a panic over some symptom and for the first time ever my blood pressure was a little high and I had a high temperature. The temp went away later that day and never came back I didn't develop the flu or anything so this is proof what anxiety and panic can do. I still have low blood pressure when I'm not panicking. Crazy 😜

Oh GOD mine goes up as high as Johny's! I tried to tell them that as soon as i hear the bp monitor starting to pump I freak! They had me on so many bp meds I was miserable with side effects. I couldn't live like that PLUS they CAUSE rebound high bp inbetween doses. I just am on half of Amlodipine now. I feel so much better BUT this whole thing has left me obsessed w my blood pressure. I've been to the ER where they said they think its anxiety.
