I've noticed since I started taking citalopram I don't dream or atleast I can't remember Any? Has anybody else noticed this.. guess it's not a horrible thing because before my dreams were either really sad or just weird.

I’m having the same since starting citalopram can’t really remember my dreams at all. on sertraline they were so vivid I would wake up and it would take me a while to realise reality from dreams if that makes sense lol. But with citalopram there seems to be nothing
Yea it is really weird! I really didn't notice till my friend was telling me about his dream and it was like bam I don't think I've had any!! I'm still tired on the citalopram so I wonder if I'm not reaching my realm sleep?
Now that you've mentioned it I don't dream while taking Citalopram either. Can't believe I didn't realise this before. A lot of my dreams were flashbacks that I'd wake up from extremely distressed and only just realised they've gone. Saying that I can sleep for 2 hours and it feels like 8 hours and sleep for 8 hours and it feels like just 2 hours. What a peculiar side effect. But overall the medication helps.
I think I'm starting to feel the effects and think they will defiantly work good for me I'm do glad I started taking them and stuck through the side effects!! Dream thing is weird but I can deal with it
