Hi I have found it very helpful but takes a few weeks before it starts to work. I recommend that you look at Kayleigh05's question post of 5 days ago for some people's useful views. Best wishes with it.
I take 40mgs of citalopram daily and have done for 4 years I find it very helpful and my psychiatrist wants me to stay on it and not plan to get off it which I am happy to do hope you get sorted Sue xx
I have been on that same type of tablet for 7 seven years, but they are the newer version called Escitolapram which they call CIPRALEX, has your tablets made your weight go up, mine has, please answer me I am so down, and I also take Valium which I have been on for years, am addicted to them now, so they will not take me off them. Do you take your pills in the morning or evening. Please answer me Thankyou. from Lindenlea.
dear lindenlea,I have stopped taking them for about a month now,had to go through a pretty rough time, but,who is to say I wouldnt have felt that way before them?,my mam was rescribed librium years ago before they knew that it was addictive, and therefore was on them for the whole of her life, bless her,I dont know if they would affect ones weight, perhaps if they make you feel lethargic and you dont getas active as you should, then perhaps, eat less move more is the only way I know that works for this,do hope you are feeling better today, around to talk if you want when on here,xx
