Sleep/anxiety
That’s definitely anxiety!! I get the same. Your getting it without realizing it. I would say try meditation before bed and make sure to be aware of your breathing because that can sometimes cause anxiety. if it dosent get better maybe get a therapist or medication!!
Are you sleeping in in the morning? I did a Sleepio course and it taught you to almost deprive yourself of sleep. Eg wake up at 6 whatever for a bit, then slowly widen that window. Also I find counting to 100 whilst breathing and trying to shut every other thought out. as soon as I get distracted I have to start from one again. Good luck. I know not sleeping is an awful thing
The more you worry about not betting sleep, the more you won't sleep.
Be sure you are not drinking caffeine too late or over stimulatig yourself before bed. Maybe a warm bath and hot cocoa would do the trick. Worry always manifests itself bigtime at night......Relax and think happy thoughts!
Might be anxiety over not sleeping which is a vicious cycle.
If you go to bed and are not falling asleep after ;20 mins get up and have a hot milky drink, not tea or coffee, but green tea with a sleep enhancing additive.
Go back to bed and try again, if this does not work might be worth a visit to gp to get a short term sleeping tablet too regulate your sleeping.
However, he will know what is best to help you
Good luck x
