Scared 😟

I’m really scared 😟 I just went shopping and whilst I was paying I came over hot and my body felt like jelly and my heart started racing a bit😒 I’m scared because I don’t know what’s causing it!

Being scared only makes it worse, try and keep calm. When I go out walking my heart randomly races and can go up to 130bpm or higher and I just tell myself it’s cause I am walking around and it will go down as well as muscle twitches and chest pain and even though I don’t feel anxious I know I prob am as I am not in my safe zone which is home and have to get used to doing stuff like I used to and not worry bout my heart always racing.

Hi laurenx95, it does sound like a classic anxiety attack, frightening but not harmful. I've noticed you have just come off your antibiotics on Monday. Depending what class of antibiotics they were, sometimes they can make anxiety a little worse. Also noticed that you had mentioned stomach problems, again antibiotics can play hard on our intestines. I usually eat yogurt once a day while taking antibiotics to avoid any stomach issues. Are you on medication for the Fibro?

Having just been diagnosed plus tooth extraction can all lead up to your mind being overwhelmed with stress and concern causing it to culminate in an anxiety attack. If the stomach continues to be a problem, best to call your doctor. One step at a time in addressing each issue. Use the forum for your support and comfort in relieving anxious thoughts. You are safe, you are okay, once you are at home, use the time to recover from the out of the moment experience you just had and then go on with your day. xx

Could it be my blood sugars I’m worried they were low and that why I keep going funny?
