Sleeping for 11 hours is a very long time, we only need 8 hours for our bodies to get rest. Sometimes when you over sleep, you wake up even more tired than before...that mixed with anxiety emotions probably has you feeling groggy. No biggie, try to eat a good breakfast or a super green drink- get your energy back up! Hope you feel more energized soon!!❤️
Hi caits sleeping 11 hours isnt normally a problem it maybe your just catching up on lost sleep ! Did you go to the doctor ? I think i remember you saying you had a appointment how did that go ! As i said get to your doctor and ask if he can run some blood tests to see if theres any thing amiss and go from there ! I wish you all the best. David 🐰🐰
Hi, I’m exactly the same.. It doesn’t seem to matter how long or little I sleep, I feel exhausted all the time! For example, last night I slept from about 11:30pm until 7:15am and yet I’ve felt shattered all day with a dull headache and achy eyes. I’ve even had a 2 hour nap this Afternoon and it’s not helped at all!
Hope you sleep well tonight and wake feeling better tomorrow xx
Hi Lynzhoppy1, I looked back and see you have Fibro (as I do). We tend not to go into that restful sleep so important for the regeneration of our muscles and nervous system leaving us tired and in a brain fog. The dull headache and achy eyes sound like they may be coming from Fibro issues.
I find that being active is more productive for me both physically and mentally. Yes, I'm in pain but try to accomplish things during the day w/o a nap making me more relaxed and tired at night where I do go into a deep sleep. I don't sleep long, don't seem to require it but it's the deep sleep I get that carries me through. Feel better, sending gentle hugs x
Hi Agora, I’ve not been diagnosed with Fibro yet but I’ve thought for a while I may have it. I have a condition called sacroilitis and another called Osteitis condensans illi. (These both affect my spine and pelvis) I have chronic pain. I also have arthritis in my knees, under active thyroid, depression and anxiety. I don’t get out at all, other than the occasional school run which is done by taxi, doctors/hospital appointments and maybe doing the food shop if I’m feeling up to it. I have very little energy and are very rapidly becoming more reclusive! I do my physio a couple of times a day (as told by my physio) I do try not to nap during the day but today there was no way of keeping my eyes open lol. I’ve had a nice warm bath and now feel fairly relaxed, I intend to read for a bit and will hopefully nod off.
Love and gentle hugs to you too xx
Taking vitamin D3 during the Autumn and Winter months is something I've found very helpful for tiredness.
