so I’ve posted before but three months ago I had a bad experience on a party drug and ended up in hospital the next day thinking there was something wrong with my heart, doctors done tests ecg, blood work checked my lungs and heart everything was good three months on I’m still feeling like shit :( I feel like my hearts gonna fail, I get palpitations headaches muscles pains chest pains ect, I also always feel so detached from reality like I’m not real, I struggle to eat or get out of bed and since yesterday I’m struggling to go to sleep or if I do I can’t stay asleep I’m so tired and scared

I always feel like my hearts working to hard to keep me going and it scares me, I’m constantly checking my pulse to make sure it’s still beating I’m so over living like this

sounds like health anxiety a little after the scare you had but go back to the doctor if your still worried even if it is for health anxiety.

I have been to the doctors twice since the hospital and they couldn’t find anything, I haven’t mentioned anxiety to them tho

Accept the symptoms for the time being in the certain knowledge that you have been given a clean bill of health by the medical profession. Accept the symptoms without adding second fear to the flash of first fear when it comes. Do not fight them which only generates more stress and strain on your nervous system, more cortisol and adrenaline overdose.

That which we refuse to fear will disappear.

That which we resist will persist.

And stick to booze at parties, recreational drugs can mess with your head as you have discovered.

Thankyou for replying I think that’s exactly what’s happening I get symptoms so I stress and fear about them which then makes them 10 times worse

Lean into the worry and anxiety. Feel your heart beat, because its there and you are healthy and present. You must develop a strategy when the anxiety begins to take hold, there are so many options out there. Reset, get up breathe in fresh air, your heart is healthy and strong and you will be alright but in order to begin. to see this you have to trust your body. You have been cleared by doctors head to toe. Should this continue you may want to consider a medication for anxiety, I know it sounds drastic at first, but sometimes a small dosage of medication can help with the peaks and valleys of anxiety. Be at peace with yourself, you are alive and will keep living. Your heart is your friend, they are in this journey together with you. they won't let you down, so try and help them out too. Breathe deep, focus on your exhale feel you fingers and your toes move. Trust in your being, you are here for many reasons! :)
