If anyone has any advice on how to deal with severe nausea from anxiety I'd be grateful to hear any advice!:-)

Iv Had this for about 2 years now, and the vomiting has only got more fequent with the nauseas throughout the majority of the day, it's become very hard to deal with and hard to leave the house because of this, so any advice I would be glad to hear:-) I'm currently in my teens so I understand that may contribute with hormonal things, but I don't think that explanation sums it up any more, I'd really like to get through this coming out better on the other side rather than more useless medication, please leave any helpful replies if you know how to help, thank you!

Peppermint essential oil, ginger tea, lemon essential oil

Either one works but as a combo i think it does benefit more

Thank youu, ginger teas a regular anyway! But I'll try the oils

Ginger really helps me. Could you talk to your doctor about anti-sickness tablets? X

Buy some fresh ginger root from the fruit and veg section of your supermarket, slice it paper thin with a sharp knife, put it in a mug and pour boiling water on it, allow the ginger tea to cool and drink/sip. It's been used for hundreds if not thousands of years as an anti nausea remedy.

Jeff1943, thank you for that suggestion. My daughter has problems with nausea. I knew there had to be something more than Ginger Ale over ice. Question: Is the whole root okay to use? What do people usually use it for other than tea? Just wondering...Thanks again.

Hi Agora1, Ginger Ale I've been told doesn't have enough of the active ingredient to be beneficial, or so I've read. Yes, I use the whole root, no need to peel it. It's used in Chinese, Thai and Korean cookery (South Korean of course☺) to add flavour to stir fry dishes along with garlic. It's also used in biscuits and confectionary, I just had a couple of cookies with bits of stem ginger in them. Yes, it's quite safe.

My daughter had the same problem. Went on for over a year. Lots of weight loss and then anxiety from feeling sick all the time. It was horrible for her. Sorry you are also feeling that way. In the end of so many visits to various doctors she was give cyproheptadine and nausea was gone. She has been on it for a month. No nausea! Enjoys life again and has gained weight back. Also switched birth control pill. I hope this helps.

My daughter was diagnosed with cyclical vomitting syndrome. Symptoms sound similar to you. Had to see a gastroenterologist for diagnosis. I can't tell you how bad she felt. Afraid to do anything. So much anxiety about eating or drinking or leaving the house. She is better and happier than ever. I really hope you can also find what works for you. It is really not how a teen should feel. Hope you feel better soon!!!

Yh I feel the same at the moment unfortunately, but it defiantly sounds like something I'll look into, literally willing to give anything a shot haha, thank you again!
