Congratulations Francesca, you are the fourth person this week on this forum to report Globus Hystericus, a common symptom of anxiety disorder, I myself had it once 20 years ago. It may be a nuisance but it's completely harmless and it will pass of its own accord. However, if you stress and obsess about it and keep testing for it then it will continue to bother you so it's best to just accept it, truly accept it, and attach little importance to it.
So once again there is no chance of you dying, absolutely no reason to think it's even a remote possibility. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Hiya thank you for your reply...i have had it in the past but was on the side of throat this is in the centre and i now feel burning in my ospheges..im so convinced it's something serious now it comes and goes am so scared...im going out of my mind there a tumour or its cancer 😓😓
I'm sure it's all down to anxiety but for reassurance do go along to your doctor and get him/her to look at your throat, they'd probably be able to tell you there and then that all is well. But if and when they do say that they can't see anything untoward then I would suggest that you must accept what they say. So do see your doctor.
