second hand smoking worry

at college everyone smokes and as the only non-smoker there, I would go outside on break to stand with them.

I didn't see it as a big deal until a friend had accident blown it in my direction and I inhaled.

I have never directly smoked nor do I want to and I, of course, have anxiety.

I understand how serious second hand smoking is.

I have only went out for a break with my friends for the past 3 weeks.

Is it is as serious as I think?

Did it harm you when that happened? Or do you dislike being around them when they smoke?

i hate smoke, i usually stand back and only go out because i didn't think it would affect me if it wasn't blown in my direction. my throat hurts but I think that's due to me forcing myself to cough.
