Natural Disasters and World Ending Anxiety

Hey guys! With everything happening in the world, my anxiety is getting triggered about all the natural disasters. Especially earthquakes bc I live in LA. So im terrified of the fault line and an earthquake. Then everyone talking about the end of the world is freakin me out. I know I cant control life and the world but it's scary plus Im scared of having anxiety if something were to happen. How do I just live and let it be if it happens. Im trying to change my thinking process but it's hard. I stopped watching the news bc they over dramatize everything. I havent any major anxiety attacks thinking about all this so i guess that's good, im dealing with it. But how can I stop these thoughts?

Hi alexis199 I think its normal to be worried about what's going on the world.especially these storms that have been severe.this makes you think what if this happens or what if ??? This is a normal response to worry and my heart goes out to all those that have been effected by it.But I'm sure all the scientist are looking into all this.

In all honesty I have a fear of the end if the world myself but i do believe its the beginning of the start of the end of the world... check this out

The solar eclipse was on the 21st and harvey showed up on the 25th and started flooding on the 26th now if we take a look at Luke 21: 25-26 it says this

"And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in heaven will be shaken" Luke 21: 25-26

This is just a way of showing Gods words are already written for us :)

Im not bery relgioous but when the signs are there they are indeniable

This being said dont fear it because we cannot control it

There is no point in worrying about things over which you have no control.Instead spend your time concentrating on those things we can change and control: anxiety.

Vote, express your opinions and help where you can but no one person can save the world single handed.

There will always be strife in the world and in our lives. Always has been, always will be. Adversity tests us and helps us to evolve to a higher form. Itis part of the plan for all life. Not for ever by still waters, that which does not destroy us makes us stronger. So best to enjoy the struggle and the achievements.

We must remember that the Holy Bible has been rewritten, added to and changed by people again and again over the centuries to fit their personal agendas although the truth is still there to find. Many people have given dates and times for the end of the wirld many times but we are still here. If there is an end then it is known only to Him and there is no profit in second guessing when that might be.

You stop the thoughts by reprogramming your mind,if the world was going to end there is nothing you can do, anxiety is a mental illness that can only be cured by YOU, no one else. Me myself I suffer from health anxiety, but it's Gone, that's what you have to keep telling yourself daily even when you feel it coming on like my girl says "push" through it
