After feeling good for about a week, I'm back to the fear of what lies ahead. As I was just sitting on my couch calm watching t.v out of nowhere I get a strong heart thud. It freaked me out as usual I went to full panic. For the rest of the night I was on high alert waiting for the next one to hit. I fell asleep and had weird dreams in witch in one of them I felt a skipped beat and woke me up. Me being the nervous wreck I was just laying there at 3AM and as I would dose off BAM I had a other thud. I finally went back to sleep around 6am and woke up and felt a other one. Why do they feel so violent when your lying down? Does anyone know? There's some that I can barley feel and some that make me jump. Please anyone help!!!
I've been to the Dr.(cardiologist) and I've been cleared with a structurally normal heart. So what gives!

You said you've been cleared with a sound and healthy heart? I've been and semi still in your shoes. Went to cardiologist, got a complete work up, everything is fine. I've started seeing a new psychologist 4 weeks ago, now I have a question for you. When you get the palpitations WHY do they freak you out? Simple question for most, but you've been cleared and are healthy! My psychologist finally got me thinking this way, so I'm curious to know your answer.
