Hi all, is anyone having heart flips like too often? I have been having this little flips too often and it scares me. I did two types of ecg saw a cardiologist and he says my heart is fine. Even in his office my heart was flipping and he heard it from stethoscope. Anyway how do I stop it. I have anxiety disorder all started almost nine years ago after giving birth I haven't been the same since. I tried drinking spinach for magnesium, I drink coconut water for electrolyte all these I read about, but this morning my heart flips again. can anyone relate. Breathe deeply stops it but it comes back after a while.

This is the story of my life. I've been having palpitations daily for almost a year. I just got off the phone with my cardiologists office to see if I can get a med increase or med change because the pills I take now do nothing for them. I'm praying something helps them.

Oh my, I try to ignore it to keep my sanity and don't panic but anxiety is a daily struggle I hate it. Some days my legs feel weak I am nervous all over people can't see but I feel it. It's a constant mind fight.

I’m also on the same boat. I’ve been dealing with heart Lalo’s/ anxiety for 6 years. They are so random and feel different at times. I can be just sitting relaxed and BAMM or I can be walking or twisting and BAMM. They have a mind of they’re own. I’ve also been told I’m fine but I can’t understand how that can be true. Also they seem to be happing more often for the past 2 months. It drives me nuts!

Makes me so nervous at times it's hard to relax, then I feel sick with all my sensations and thoughts

How would you disprove yours? Do they happen random, during activity or when relaxed?

Can we exchange numbers so we can chat easier. It's so hard to talk to people that can't relate they stress me out more so I just keep quiet an pretend. I just want a real person. It's funny but I sometimes think this link got robots on it.

Hi girl,

I am still here, been taking becomplex capsule so far I still get the heart skips just will waych it for a while. Other stuff bothers me though. Do you get like dizzie feelings not like stuff spinning but like off balance and when you stand still you feel nothing. I will be fine one minute then the next weird feelings. I get like little zap in my head too. It's makes me think brain tumor and other awful stuff. The zap is like a slight twitch then stop. At times it triggers other weird feelings and sometimes nothing else happens. Girl I just want this to go away for good, I wonder if anyone ever gets cured

I have them allllll the time. I think mine are more when I move or bend the wrong way and pinch something or have gas/bloating in my stomach because usually right after a palpation I burp, I also realized they might because of GERD/hiatal hernia, and food going back up and pushing on stuff 😭 because whenever I get them I feel a fullness in my upper stomach, I’ve been having them since I was 16 (I’m 22 now) and it’s still scary 😭

I went to the doctors over my heart apparently skipping. It gradually got worse over a period of months and I thought I was about to have a heart attack. Doctor ran tests and all ok. It was stress. Brought on by huge amounts of travel weekly and no time to recover. I was prescribed Prozac and have had CBT and no more palpitations. I’ve changed my job for one where I don’t travel. Life is looking up.

Hi Drene, as long as the tests come back normal then that's a good way to start. As you know, the real battle is with your mind. It's really hard to stop once you become hyper aware. I'm still dealing with mine, I try to eat healthy (PLWF) to lessen any inflammation I may have. I'm still at a state where if I feel any pain (I have chronic middle-upper back pain), whether it's just a headache, left arm pain (Triceps or forearms), pins-needles on fingers, slight numb lower legs, muscle or nerve twitches... my brain automatically think it's something serious thus anxiety/panic attack sets in. I was prescribed anxiety medications but decided to take a different route as I was afraid of the side effects that comes with it. Generally, try to put yourself on the low risk category, which my doctor says - maintain a healthy weight, avoid-stop smoking, drinking liquor, added sugar, oil, dairy, processed foods.

Hi I suffer with bad palpitations, I’ve recently been taking vitamin B12( 6 weeks now) and after 4 weeks I had no palpitations for 18days. The last couple of days I’ve had a few flutters but nothing like they were. Maybe give the B12 a go.

Many over the counter products can cause this. I can't take anything that is a decongestant or even a vitamin that has too much vitamin D. Also, if you have a hiatal hernia, sometimes the pressure can randomly cause this to happen. Not saying you have all those issues - just my experience. And yes, it is unnerving and worrisome.

Good advice because sometimes nothing seems to work. We have to be strong and grin and bear it sometimes.
