Late night worries
Do you have a bad cough when you lay down at night?
No not cough, just feel short of breath w tightnesd and fullness along w kinda congested nose tho no real mucus comes out and sometimes wheezing
My husbands lungs were filling with fluid and he was in heart failure at 39. His only symptom was coughing when he was laying down flat. So with this in mind I think you should be reassured that your lungs aren't filling with fluid. I hope this helps.
Wow sorry to hear that, may I ask what caused it? It helps a little, but for almost 2 months I have been waking up from my sleep gasping for air and it was worse laying on my back. I hope it is just acid reflux
They are not sure. They think he got a virus that attacked his heart. Your symptoms sound more like mine than his. I get bloated all the time, and have acid reflux. The acid reflux, tightness in chest, and bloating is going on now for me, that is why I'm up so late.
Same here. It happens every night and firces me tobe in an upright position. I can even hear movement in my stomach. My worry tho is that the bloatedness is al the time now and it feels like I cant take a good breath of air or that Im not feeling all the oxygen getbin when i breath. Sounds weird to describe
Me to, and then I get anxious about that. You know anxiety triggers stomache problems. Worrying about health becomes a vicious cycle. The worry and anxiety causes a hyper awareness to everything that is going on in our body that we would normally not be aware of.
Sorry, you're having trouble sleeping. If your lungs and heart were under siege, you would be feeling like you're drowning or suffocating from lack of air, as in chronic fatigue syndrome. Your other symptoms sound like your old friend anxiety taking the upper hand. If you live in the US, A rule of thumb: is it worry you enough that you would go to the doctor and pay for a $75 office visit? If so, get to a walk in clinic or the ER if your doctor's office is closed. If you are in part of UK, guess you're stuck until morning and I don't know what costs, if any you would pay out of pocket.
Hope things settle down and you can sleep the rest of the night.
Cfs has similar symptoms? Well what is keeping me reassured is that if this has been happening for days and nights consistently then I probably am not in the biggest danger
