Well I'm out of hospital. I'm going travelling for as long as possible. First stop AMERICA then Israel and Egypt. No point crying over my death sentence. Now time to blow some money and have fun.
Holiday time: Well I'm out of hospital. I'm... - Anxiety Support
Holiday time
Enjoy yourself
Sounds like a plan, great plan!! What are the doctors saying about you?
My doctors told me to go enjoy the time I have left.
I just wish my family and Jen stop crying.
That's awful, I actually just read your other post regarding your health. Must be awful for family members too. Heartbreaking.
I pray for you and I hope you enjoy your time you have left. Maybe a miracle will happen!
Good for you Enzo22. Enjoy every moment. Don't lose touch with us, we're still behind you in your journey. Wave to me if you pass Chicago, I'll be waving back
Dear Mr. Enzo,
America is listed first on your "bucket list". Is that North America or South America?
If it is North America is that USA or Canada or both?
I live in tropical Tampa, near the Gulf of Mexico, which has beautiful white beaches and is more laid back than Miami, or NYC.
But if I only had time to experience one part of North America, it would be on a cruise ship sailing the inner channel of Alaska next to Canada before fall when the ships no longer travel there due to the cold. The ship I would take would be one that leaves Vancouver, Canada and stops at Jeanue and several other places, but ultimately reaches Hubbard Glacier. This is a "falling glacier", where tons of beautiful pure white snow and sheets of ice crash into the blue sea of icebergs with the sound of tremendous deafening thunder. The experience for the eyes and ears is indescribable. After the ship reaches the very tip of the Hubbard Glacier it appears the ship is trapped in the waters of the glaciers. These remarkable cruise ships with the help of thrusters are able to rotate 360 degrees and sail back out of the protected Hubbard Glacier. We have taken that cruise twice....the first time we actually eloped and married on Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau, Alaska, US.
For the remainder of this year our family business has us on a cruise ship every month for a few days, frequently in the Caribbean islands, except for November when we fly to Barcelona, Spain and bring back a ship to Puerto Rico, and then home for the winter in Tampa. Takes almost three weeks.
My husband and I know many people are suggesting many places to go on your "quest". We are writing you, as we have seen much of the world by ship. But we agree if you can spare 7 days, this is the choice we would suggest without doubt, more than NYC or California or tropical Florida, that this is what should be seen, heard and felt in the coolness of Alaska's fall. Not many people are familiar with Alaska or Hubbard Glacier.
All modern cruise ships have remarkable medical facilities. If you are able, we suggest securing a travel health insurance policy which will cover the expense of the cruise if you need to cancel, and will pay for the medical care you may need on the ship, even medivacing you by helicopter if you are on water and need to be transported to a hospital or medical center.
This is not an advertisement. We do not book travel. This is something from the heart. If you do wish to take this cruise, we can provide what information you may need.
We wish you godspeed in your quest and that you have only good days for the rest of your years.
