Fear of antibiotics

Hi all,

I have been prescribed Levofloxacin to treat a persistent sinus infection and I'm terrified of taking it. I know it is my only way out of my illness and, even knowing that, I cannot help thinking it is going to do me harm. The list of side effects on the prospectus is endless and alarming.

I do not want my irrational fears to rule my life like this. I feel helpless.

Has anybody suffered this phobia to medication and, if so, could you recommend a way to overcome it?
