To all who suffer with PTSD depression anxiety loneliness etc. Life is too short.

Please take each day as it comes it is pointless worrying about things as it causes us more stress in our lives and makes us much worse I never really believed this as a sufferer of many issues but now 20yrs on I finally have changed the way I think.

Yes I may still have the odd day I am not myself but I always say tomorrow will be a better day even when I do not feel it. I always think positively to make me feel better.

To shake off the depression is very hard but have you ever wondered why you feel the way you do.

Deep thinking is what we need to do and talk as if there was another person with you in the room or write a journal of all your problems to bring them to the surface to be released for they are a heavy burden on your soul. We all need upliftment and we have to help our selves to overcome our problems as many do not understand what we go through.

To go forward and look to a new future in your life take time to sit quietly and ask yourself what you would like to do that would make you happy then work towards that goal if you can or ask others to help you achieve your goals. The only way we can get out of this rut and try and have a normal life is to change the way we think and do things.

Try and take up a hobby or learn a new skill help others who need help there is so much we can do when we put our mind into action and take the first step.

Tomorrow is another day so do what you can for today even if it is something small.

We have to achieve our goals and learn new skills to have a fuller life.

Depression is fear of the unknown we have to break free from this protected shell we have built around ourselves. Anxiety is endless worrying over things that maybe we should forget about and leave them to get sorted by others.

Loneliness can be controlled and changed by letting others into your life just by saying hello meeting others join a local group or visiting the library or coffee mornings in your community.

We all have to face our illnesses and find a way to cope to make us feel happier within ourselves.

It is too easy to stay in bed or to sleep on the couch when we need to take time to heal ourselves when life gets us down. Take time to relax and sit outside in the sun.

Listen to a talk show on the radio.

Write a journal of your life the problems you have and a solution if you have one if not ask for Gods guidance when you go to bed. The answer may come to you in your sleep or maybe there isn't an answer you just have to pass it over to God the higher one to deal with.

I have written many journals over the past 30yrs and found it a blessing as I was not sure where I was going with my life. Writing a daily journal of my life, problems I was faced with was a learning curve and writing the journal gave me the insight and strength to carry on.

When there was no-one I could talk to there was always my journal where I could offload so my head would stop buzzing and that I could have a good nights sleep.

By writing our problems down on paper or a writing pad we are releasing the stress from our bodies and to ease the pressure from our minds.

Find something you would enjoy doing and do it even if it is a crossword, shopping, drawing, sewing, reading, knitting etc. We all need to take some time out for ourselves it can be difficult if you have children so enjoy the fun with them give them something they can enjoy doing even if it is playing in the garden or going for a picnic having time in the fresh air lifts the mind.

Give the kids an art pad or use the back of wallpaper to express and test their drawing skills this could be done in the garden or in the park or in the house if it is raining.

Children who find days hard to cope with may also find Writing a Journal beneficial when they find it hard to talk. Writing things down is a way of expressing feelings that have come to the surface and need to be released.

Hope this helps someone in need.
