I've been experiencing anxiety for sometime now the main thing I can't control are racing thoughts and uncontrollable scenarios going through my mind( and I live on my own so I have to much time to think and let this happen, has anyone got any ways to get passed this?

I can definitely relate I also suffer from anxiety. Really the only thing I know to do is keep myself occupied whether it be with social media cleaning cooking or talking otp. Try to keep your schedule full so that you don't have time to think!
Hi, I think this anxiety has shown up in our lives cause we're always rushing around and have a million things to do everyday and our nervous system can't take it after a while. I've been reading different websites and I think meditation sounds like it will help. We're just suppose to breathe in with our belly not chest while sitting with straight back and only concentrate on our breathing which it says we will be able to do! I'm going to try 10 min two times a day. Also don't have more than a cup of coffee if you drink it and we're supposed to drink a lot of water, I do now with lemon or a bit of juice in it cause I hate plain water!! I'm also taking a multivitamin. Btw get a Dr Claire Weekes audio book, she's really reassuring and calming. Take care
Hey, I have racing thoughts too - agree that meditation is a good call, have you seen an app called Headspace before? I have also found staying active with a mundane activity (e.g. cleaning the bathroom) really helps when you are especially anxious, as your mind is busy focussing on something simple.
