Yep all the time, I'll be doing something nice then all of a sudden I'll start to feel nauseous, and that makes me feel worse. I don't even know what triggers it, it just randomly comes on.

Yeh it's very similar to me. Once the nausea sets in it's like the cycle starts not a pleasant feeling at all!! How do you deal with yours

Morning Rugby,

Yes I know what you mean with anxiety coming out of know where or what's triggered it.

I try and distract myself in some way .

Yeh I know that feeling of just praying that soon you will return to some normality.. I just love being happy and I think that that's what upsets me the most that I can't be?

Yes I always feel anxious Feeling , it happenes randomly or when I think of it because I hate the feeling it fears me so that what really triggers me to feel that way , I always feel like I can't really touch anything or else I'll have to grab something hard I can't stop moving , it sucks cause it makes my muscles tighten up

Yeh muscle tensioning is really common for anxiety disorders.. it's your body's natural reaction to a stressful situation.. how do you deal with it?

I try my best to not think of it & that's it all in my mind , I just had really bad anxiety at Walmart and my heart was beating so fast I couldn't stop moving , I tried not to get it too a panic attack

Does anyone find their anxiety is worse at certain times? For me it's manageable in the morning, then from 11am until about now it's uncontrollable. Now I can feel myself easing out of it a little.

I am all the time too. I wake up in the morning and I am fine but then 3 hrs later panic attack comes and stays all day. I keep the Senerity Prayer hoping it will help.

My anxiety hits me first thing in the morning. My mind goes in to hyper drive. It's horrible.

I always feel better at night when I feel safe.

compaq1958, mornings are more difficult for many people including myself. It's the fear of the unknown. What the day has in store for us. Once evening comes, the body and mind settle down, adrenaline levels are lower and tiredness helps calm us. x

Mornings are the same for me too, I see my son off to school, then I just think to myself well now I have to get out, even up the shop or a coffee in Greggs, once the morning has gone I'm fine, so weird isn't it, I don't like doing it the other way round it feels too alien to me

Mumof347, it's the high cortisol levels that start early morning that feeds into our anxiety when we wake up. I use meditation and deep breathing before I even get out of bed. It does help.. Believe me we are not alone in this.. x

Interesting I'm always on edge in the morning and IBS is worse also. Is there any way of reducing our cortisol levels? X

I was watching a lady called Carol Vordaman on tv yesterday and she was telling the world how Depression and anxiety hit her hard out of no where and she found out it was the Menapause, hormones play a huge part for women as they dip really low and make us feel really bad. I am peri-menapausal so I think it is a big factor for me right now

My anxiety seem to start when I started the menopause in 2010!!!!

I seem to get really anxious about things I use to be able to do in my stride, like going to different place without stressing out and over thinking things.

Now I seem to be a nervous wreck about going to far from home.
