Thanks for the education. I live in Tampa, FL now, but was raised inLouisville, KY.

For weeks before the fist Saturday in May each year there are celebration events, etc. Because that Saturday each year is the Run for the Roses.....also known as The Kentucky Derby of the top thoroughbred race horses. I miss my hometown this time of year. (The winning horse is draped with a blanket of fresh roses).

Wow Florida how lovely all that sunshine ,unlike the great British weather which can be very cold at times,but as may has now began hopefully we well start to get some lovely sunny days.
