Just wanted to share some positivity today. Wasn’t feeling 100% for the past 2 weeks which affected my anxiety, but yesterday, somehow, somewhere I found my motivation...although I was feeling absolutely awful I managed to push myself to get out of the house and I even went to my parents for a few hours for tea, something that I never do! Just that small push was enough to get me out for a bit, and I really enjoyed spending time just me and my mum and dad. Also I’ve made plans for the weekend, I’m going to the cinema with my boyfriend and our 2 best friends to watch the new Deadpool film, I’m nervous but I’m excited at facing a new obstacle and being able to possibly overcome it 🙂 the point I’m trying to make is that no matter how low, worn out, tired or scared you may feel about something, we all have the inner strength and courage that we need to get through it.
I realised yesterday that I CAN do it, all I have to do is try and overcome the anxious feelings and accept that they are just a passenger that I carry with me all the time. I’ve made plans this week with people like going to a theme park and staying in a hotel for the night and then going on holiday at some point this year, I never usually make plans because I fear letting people down if I cancel, but people understand, even if you feel like they don’t sometimes.
I hope you all have a fabulous day and remember you CAN do it! You are strong! I believe in all of you...believe in yourselves too!
Chloe 🙂 x

It’s hard to believe a good place exsists when in a bad place. It’s hard to recall what it’s like to feel good about accomplishments and how do the good times happen like we don’t have control. I’m happy for you and you sound strong and motivated to continue on a path with bravery.
It’s is pretty tough to believe in it, it helps to have people around that try and push you to do things and give the encouragement we sometimes need. Every journey is different in life, I believe that positivity is key in most situations. I try to look at it as if something happens it happens wether I’m in my safe place or not, i find that more often than not, I’m ok when I go places and do things and that the anxious thoughts are just that...thoughts. I hope you can find peace with your anxiety and find something that works for you!
I think positivity is key you are right. Thanks for that reminder! And I find things are always easier than I tend to imagine they will be but I still get all upset beforehand until a feared event is over. Anxious thoughts are just thoughts yes. It’s not who we are. Im just discouraged since I was doing much better for a stretch and now I contemplate if I need to get extra help but I am stubborn about it. Best to you! 💕
Oh bless you! It’s awful when we go through a relapse faze, but try to remember that you did it before, you can do it again, you know you have the inner strength to do it! You are more powerful than the anxiety! I think it’s definitely worth getting extra help if you feel you need it 🙂 you’ve got nothing to lose by getting it 😀 😘
I hope it helps you as much as it helps me 🙂 i was once told that anxiety is just like an annoying sibling that follows you around all day trying to push your buttons, and that I should do what I would do if it were and that’s to acknowledge it’s there but just to let it carry on following and try to live your life until it eventually gets bored and gives up trying to annoy you...bit of a weird one but it kind of made a bit of sense at the time and it actually helped a bit 🙂
So I forgot to remember I am more powerful than anxiety oh well. There is more time to try it out. I like that way of seeing it as a little annoying sibling too. Glad it helped you Cs.
