Vision
Yes it can affect vision, Shelbz, it can cause scintillating scotomata, the visual disturbance that often precceeds migraine but without the headache and a scintillating effect along bright horozontal surfaces. Also black marks when viewed against a bright white background such as clouds or a white painted wall in sunshine. I'm sure there are many others such as lack of fine focus, what have you? Anxiety takes many forms, but it is always still anxiety.
Okay because I thought it was something more serious iv had my eyes tested just shorted sighted and iv had a neurological exmaination and the doctor said my reflexes are fine anything that could help it ??
You did right to get your eyes tested for reassurance. I'm short sighted tooand from the age of around 60 years onwards almost everyone experiences what's called Posterior Vitrious Detachment which means that the jelly in the centre of the eye becomes unstuck from the retina at the back of the eye. When this happens some of the vitrious jelly still sticks to the retina and movement of the eye causes it to tug on the retina. When this happens we see flashing lights mostly noticeable round the edges of our vision. This is all normal and no reason for concern. So depending on age, this can be the cause of flashing lights. They eventually settle down. But none of this has anything to do with anxiety!
