Beta blockers work by blocking the effects of norepinephrine, a stress hormone involved in the fight-or-flight response. This helps control the physical symptoms of anxiety such as rapid heart rate, a trembling voice, sweating, dizziness, and shaky hands.

Keep taking them and when feel you can cope you reduce the strengths.

i know it does it got me good but my back hurts and neck alot everything is relax but my neck and back hurts

Take them as prescribed Johhny. They are not when u feel like it medicines. The doctor said twice daily for a reason.Have you considered that they are probably long acting tablets? Most twice daily meds are! If you take too many u could find your heart beats going too slow .Johnny you have anxiety. You promised not to look stuff up and you promised not to post all the time about the same thing.I think that you are in danger of becoming obsessional in your thought patterns. This will be very self defeating for you.All the doctors are not wrong. You havnt considered the fact that you are wrong?? if you really want to get to grips with your anxiety you must stop your unhelpful thought pattern about thinking the docs are wrong .You have been extensivey worked up and apart from slight increased heart rate( probably due to working yourself up ) you have been cleared as safe.Anxiety can cause all your symtpms ,holding yoursef tensely all the time causes muscle spasms and muscle pains.Johnny just to open up in your mind that you could be a little obsessive, count back over the past 2 weeks how many times you have posted.about the same ungrounded fears. The doctors have said your heart is fine. You are too young to be suffering this way.over ungrounded fears.About your heart. It is spoiling your fun bigtime and the sooner you realise that only you can take the advice you have been given then the quicker your symptoms will settle.
