Hi All.
Lately I have been having terrible shortness of breath. However, a week ago I did have an ECG and it was fine. I do smoke, so I am sure that is not helping. But I cannot shake this shortness of breath. It comes in episodes and lasts about 2 hours. Anyone else have this with their anxiety?

No. The doctor says it is anxiety. He did want me to have a lung test when I was sick with bronchitis, but that went away.
A doctor told me I only had anxiety but I didn't, well I did due to being physically ill.
You should get a lung test done regardless if bronchitis.
okay thanks to you, I have made an appointment right now with my pharmacy tomorrow. They are going to do a blow lung test. Apparently that can pick up if I have COPD or any other lung problems. If not, its just anxiety but like you, I would rather know. Thank you 
A lung capacity test, you simply blow into a tube and it gives a reading. If the reading is low you'll be referred, if it's normal then you'll be told, no!.
Hi dave. The test was very very low. Seeing doctor on Tuesday after holidays. I guess I will be having a chest x ray next.
