Has anyone ever experienced the feeling of having the floor bounce up for just a few seconds while walking? ( like you stepped on a soft bouncy surface). Its a really scary feeling and I'm scared it might go out of control while I'm at school. What is it? Is it anxiety? or is it something dangerous.

Floor is bouncing or sinking while walking
Hello,
Yes me, used to get it all the time but just now and then lately. Its called vertigo. When that happens, I just walk very slow and I also don't shake or turn mu head vigorously because that just aggravates it.
Yep get it a bit . But if I have driven for a bit I get out and it's real bad . Not sure if it's anxiety or what . Had it real bad when on holidays driving a lot . We would stop and everything was rocking . The worst
Yes, I get this too! I used to worry that I was going to fall over, but that never happened, so now if I have an odd moment like that I just slow down a bit and find something to focus on to distract myself.
Yes, that's called vertigo docter gave me tablets
Do you take any medications? The reason I ask is dizziness and or vertigo is a common side affect of many medications.
is your stress level high? Job stress, home, family? Do you feel nervous most of the time daily?
This is anxiety. Does your heart beat fast also? Karmaberry99, us folks with anxiety, we have trained our brains to overreact to almost everything. This however is not a bad thing but if we don't grab hold of it, it will grab us and cause all sorts of physical symptoms and additional anxiety. Accept the symptoms for what they are and try to talk deep slow breaths when you encounter these symptoms. It takes practice but it can be done. Distract your mind from the symptoms and if they disappear or go down, you know it's anxiety. If your symptoms stay no matter what you try to do, I would see your doctor. They can prescribe you something to help with your symptoms once they do bloodwork and exam. Keep in touch and let me know if you still encounter these symptoms. I believe this is all anxiety related.
Yes, I have had that symptom. I had it almost continuously for about three months. It is definitely a symptom of anxiety. In my case it was nothing to be concerned about. It went away eventually.
