I'm trying to cope with this anxiety and symptoms without the use of any meds....does anyone recommend anything I can do to calm myself like .... well actually I do take Bayers and I heard that benadryl helps with anxiety so I've tried it it don't really work so please does anyone else have something in mind that's not a narcotic....

No...i do try to keep active it goes away but as soon as I stop doing what I'm doing it starts all over again like it never have me a break🙁
Look into foods that help, bananas are very good but there are others. On YouTube you can find vids on breathing techniques that will help. Also when you feel anxiety kicking in try to go do something to take your mind off it, draw, listen to music go walking, exercise is really good for it.
Hello tiredofsuffering i trued for a long time to cope without the meds but i gave in eventually.i tried kalms but had no luck so had to go drs and get some that was 16 years ago and im still on them today my dr has upped me from 75mg to 300mg so hopefully they will kick in soon xx

You get them from any chemist or asda tesco etc they a little tablet that relaxes u wen u feeling nervous they good to start with then have less effect but u may react differently to them than i did xx

Ok. My suggestion is if and I mean if you are not currently taking anything for anxiety, I would say a natural supplement called Tranquilene. It's online only. I would also consult your doctor before taking anything natural. Are you on any other medication?
No I only take Bayers and from time to time I do take benadryl....it said on in a site I was on that benadryl is good for anxiety but it don't work
I noticed that since I have been putting chia seeds in my yogurts or smoothies, I feel A LOT better. Google the benefits of chia seeds for anxiety. They're natural and not a form of medication. Also, when my nerves feel bad I eat a little celery and it really calms me down. For the last few months I was in a deep depression, panic attacks EVERY DAY, and anxiety. I don't feel depressed anymore, just anxious/panicky here and there but I haven't had any medicine, just a little work out here and there and eating foods high in magnesium. I haven't even been taking my iron pills regularly (but I will). Give the natural foods a try. 😊😊
Bachs rescue remedy spray. You can also get in on chewing gum (chewing helps distract from anxiety), drops for your water, tabs for your tongue etc. They also have a night range.

I eat a banana and drink sparkling water. There's something in the carbonated water that helps with blood sugar levels. Good if the anxiety interferes with eating.

They say Kava Kava works great find it in the health food stores, there are alot of natrual things and they do help, wont take it way but seem to help alot.. im also using the kava tea which seems to help at night, or any time you need it actually....hope it helps, try it..
