Any of you ladies notice you have more anxiety when it's that time of month? I am anxious today for no apparent reason but I am close to starting my period. My chest feels a little anxious and tight. Is there any remedies you ladies have found that work on easing these anxiety symptoms?

I also have klonopin if it really gets out of hand, but I try to make that my last resort. Yoga sounds good! 😊👍🏻
yes i'm about 3 days off of my Period and my heads felt weird and tight all day & ive been all panicky for no reason
I'm the same way before it comes, very anxious and panicky and Now my new thing is crying lol.
I was actually going to post something about this . Yes . My anxiety increases tremendously the week before and during my menstruation . It's so dreadful.
I have had issues around my period with anxiety for such a long time! It got so bad at that time of the month I had no choice but to see my dr about meds for anxiety, there are times it's really tough but I am reassured a lot of it now for me is hormonal because of age and prior to I'm guessing pms or pmdd. The meds have helped a lot and having a bit of understanding how anxiety affects me from month to month helped as well, none of us are alone in this !

If you can get hold.of a book by an aussie or nz author called Dr Libby Weaver called Rushing Woman's Syndrome, there is soooooo much information on this very topic and how to support yourself during the hormonal fluctuations during the month. And the bad news is that with all the adrenaline and cortisol we are mainlining into our bodies with stres, anxiety and panic we are making this worse for ourselves!!! Have a read.
Thanks ladies! I'm glad I'm not alone in this! My period symptoms seem to have gotten worse since after I had my baby.
I can't even begin to explain how horrible my anxiety is now before during and after my period. I am sane like 1 week out of the month. if i work out and eat healthy, don't drink and take supplements. I am fine. though I haven't really been in a year or so.
