I'm not sure that I've heard of acid reflux giving accelerated heart rate.. but I think you would know if it was a panic attack...

I mean my heart was racing so fast and i was shaking and it felt like I was going to die

Acid reflux can cause heart palpitations, which can be further exacerbated by anxiety. Just try your best not to worry about it, maybe take some antacids, see if that helps. Wish you all the best!

acid reflux is a symptom of both high stomach acidity and low stomach acidity.

low stomach acidity is a factor that can be associated with vitamin and mineral deficiencies

- symptoms of B12 deficiency include anxiety just in case anything else rings bells - would suggest that you ask GP to test ... and if tested already get hold of the results as the test done - serum B12 isn't a good guide on its own. Support available on PAS forum if it sounds likely

Thanks Gambit62 for that knowledgeable bit of info on acid reflux. I did not realize there was low stomach acidity as well.
