I'm exactly the same have a couple of weeks of total panic can't focus on anything but symptom an then start to think maybe this is anxiety? I'll not focus I'll keep busy and it does seem to get better then back to total panic another symptom an it's what if ? Why this happening! Back to the dark scary place locked in my mind again 😭

New symptoms, old symptoms, they are all frauds and fakes, toothless tigers that can only put the fear of God into you if you give them the permission to do so. I can see that either through self discovery or through the teachings of Claire Weekes you realise that not letting the symptoms scare you any more is the true way forward so now you must apply the last imperitive "Let time pass." Then because you are no longer lashing your over sensitive nervous system wuth fresh fear every five minutes they will return to their normal state and your symptoms devoid of the power that drives them will disappear into oblivion - and you will join the rest of us on the Yellow Brick Road to recovery.

No one said it was easy, Bauer, simple yes but not easy. Letting time pass is difficult for those long suffering from frazzled nerves. In case you aren't familiar with Claire Weekes: she devised her method many years ago whilst suffering from anxiety disorder herself as a young woman studying to be a doctor. Can one book save the world? Maybe. Can one book save you from the misery of anxiety disorder? A thousand times yes! It's called 'Self help with your nerves' in the U.K. and 'Hope and help with your nerves' in the U.S. both available from Amazon. And if the readies are in short supply you can click on the 'Used' option and buy a second hand copy for one penny/cent plus postage of a few pounds/dollars. It's reasonably short and easy to read and soon you'll be thinking: "OMG she must know me!" If you've already read it, read it again. If not, you owe it to yourself, Baur. And oh yes, you will recover, you WILL take your life back!
