Endoscopy today 😔

A little nervous, of course the anxiety is sky high today? Has anyone had this done any advice???

It is more than natural feeling anxious over having something done like this so do not give yourself a bad time because you do , I think today is a day you are allowed to

I have had it done , I am in the UK

I will be honest and say it is over within minutes , I made a mistake for me and did not have sedation so I found it unpleasant and wish I had , so the only advise I would maybe give is having sedation and then I am sure you will hardly feel or remember much at all

The other thing no matter how you find it is the relief of knowing all these symptoms you were getting that lead to this procedure were nothing sinister and well worth having it done for that alone

Yes I had this done 2 years ago, was worried as I did't know what it was going to feel like, but after researching it I knew what to expect. Waiting was the worst thing trying to read a magazine to relax, but as soon as I was taking into the room and given anesthetic I relaxed. I must say the worst part in when the tube is going down, it only lasts for a couple of seconds then you wake up 40 minutes later, good luck

Mloanddb, I had it done twice. Enjoy the cap nap during the procedure and the meal afterwards.
