So I finally had the guts to go to the doctors and say about the chest pains I keep getting. He just listened with a stethoscope and said your heart sounds fine for your age!
But still I'm getting pains. I think it's my anxiety it I keep thinking what if I have a heart attack!!!!!
Shall I book another appointment with another doctor to check?
Or is a stethoscope reliable?

When you go and see the Doctor and give them your symptoms they usually listen and if you say anything that indicates there could be a heart problem and they know what they are listening for then they would usually send you for further investigations , it sounds like you did not say anything that would indicate a heart problem so your Doctor had a quick listen to make sure it was beating ok and no infection maybe but if you feel you are not satisfied with the appointment you could always see another Doctor
