Weird eyesight
Hey kayleealice17 When you say your eyesight is off, what exactly do you mean? Like blurry? If you don't mind can you elaborate?..
Yes. Never double vision however. Blurry, light sensitive, trouble with depth perception. Had my eyes tested a month ago, all seems well however.
I get this weird thing when I turn my head, it's like my eyes take awhile to catch up. I sometimes get blurred vision, out of focus.
What kind of things are you seeing
Thre more bizarre the visual disturbance the less likely it is to be serious and more likely to be migraine.
I hope you have had a vision check done.
If this is happening frequently then it would be worth seeing your gp to consider an antimigraine drug
I've had floaters in both eyes for about 10 years now which get worse before a migraine. I also get light sensitivity and have vision checks every yr. It's just one of those things that happens with anxiety unfortunately.
Yes, Kaylee, our vision can be affected by anxiety just as any other part of the body. One common symptom is a shimmering effect on horizontal lines - but I better not tell you any more or you'll start imagining them😊
As you had your eyes examined recently it's very unlikely to be anything physical so relax. Seeing (or rather noticing) floaters which you mention is another anxiety symptom that's quite common.
I have weird vision stuff too. I have "visiual snow" which is constant. I get blue flashes.. sometimeS I get this weird thing where it feels like the lights dimmed for a second. Tons of fun!
In the months prior to getting the weird eyesight, did you happen to take any antibiotics? some of them can cause vision troubles, and those can start well after you stopped the meds so you don't connect the dots. In my case, I took Cipro for a UTI and had bad effects, including weird eye things.
I do kaylee but if you haven't already, you should definitely get them checked to be extra sure.
I have constant tension in my shoulders and neck and I find I have to wear glasses which are five years old as the newer ones, with slightly stronger lenses - I'm very short-sighted - make me feel off-balance and sicky and if I try the newer glasses, then feel horrid and put the old ones back on, the horrid feeling can still last for hours afterwards. I also have one leg half an inch shorter than the other and I'm sure all the muscle imbalance also affects the ocular muscles. I can also sometimes feel as though I'm walking on foam. Anyone else get these sorts of feelings? I am not very balanced when walking but can ride a bicycle with no problems so I don't think it's my ears.
Do you feel as though you're always looking through glass. Or like you're seeing everything but it's not connecting to your brain. That's how I felt and sometimes still feel. I couldn't explain it and it's still hard too but I think it's just our brain saying it's getting too much stimulus since having anxiety is very stimulating.
