Weird Symptoms?

I have had really weird symptoms all week. I keep trying to reassure myself but it's been a full day of new weird symptoms! Can this all really be anxiety? I've fought off going to the ER and to the mental hospital all day! I'm so frustrated!

What kind of symptoms do you have?

1. Sore mouth (tongue feels swollen and sore, lip feels swollen and sore, throat feels swollen)

2. Today, my knees look swollen and I have a hive on one of my toes...I had hives on my knees earlier today..

3. My face is hot and flushed...

Beth, doesn't sound like anxiety. Could you be allergic to something you ate or put on your skin. Maybe even an insect bite on your toe.

No, nothing new :( I called my psychiatrist and she told me that anxiety can produce hives :(

Everyone just keeps telling me it's anxiety :(

Anxiety makes my mouth swell too! Are your lips itchy? I get that all the time. It also makes my feet swell up. I haven't gotten hives but I know that's a common anxiety symptom, along with your face feeling hot. Usually I try to ignore whatever weird new symptoms the day brings me and they go away on their own once I stop paying attention. I'm sorry you're having a rough day. :(

Thanks... I guess I'm going to try and rest and go to bed. My husband is the only person I have in my life right now and he keeps telling me it's anxiety..

I honestly think there's an explanation for my throat and mouth ( because it's been going on since Monday) I told my husband in the morning I want him to take me to MedExpres... I don't have a fever but it is red. (My voice is hoarse too)

The hives I have no idea... They did disappear without threatment (except the one on my toe) so maybe, they are from anxiety.

My face I think is a combination of really dry skin and anxiety...

I don't really know about any of it just trying to calm myself and possibly rationalize through it..the meds I had today was 1/2 Ativan but I've taken that before so I can't imagine it caused any of it?

No Ativan wouldn't cause that. Just try to calm down and see if relaxing will help some of those symptoms. I wish you well Beth... Let us know tomorrow how you are doing please. xx
