Hi all
At my last session with my therapist she tried EMDR, it was upsetting and I left an emotional wreck. Since then I've been really down, had flash backs and the nightmares are horrendous It's been my worst week in a long time and my anxiety levels are so high. Please tell me its worth it in the end? I just want to get that image out of my head and be able to get a decent nights sleep
It's made me not want to continue with CBT, I know I'm going to have to really push my self to go to my next session.
If anyone has had EMDR before can you possibly tell me how long I can expect to feel like this? Thanks in advance x
