Why not? It is common, even for people who don't have anxiety. It is just your anxious mind doing what an anxious mind does. Producing anxious thoughts which makes you question why your lip is twitching. Just accept it and move on 😎

Well stop focussing on it! 😘 Probably habit caused by your anxiety. Anxious people tend to be on alert checking themselves all the time because they fear it is something worse. The key word here is FEAR. Fear is the root cause of anxiety. Stop tuning in to every single physical thing and do something else.

Best wishes

My eye and mouth was twitching for several days last week, compared to my other symptoms this twitching did not really worry me a great deal, so I completely dismissed it as nothing more than a simple twitch of no concern whats so ever, and guess what! it disappeared, beevees spot on, give that twitch no attention xxx

I get twitches all over my body. This is normally caused when I don't get an adequate amount of sleep, which is usually the result of my insomnia flaring up due to my inability to stop worrying at night. My eyelid and pinky finger twitched for an entire month once, and of course I was worried sick thinking I was developing some type of disease. Once I started some relaxation techniques and just ignored the twitching by telling myself "it's nothing - go to sleep", it eventually stopped.
